Frequently Asked Questions
Can I add an image watermark or logo instead of text?
The current Add Watermark tool supports text watermarks only. Image watermarks (such as company logos) are not yet available in this version. Text watermarks work for the most common use cases including DRAFT, CONFIDENTIAL, SAMPLE, and company name stamps.
Can the watermark be removed from my PDF?
The watermark is embedded into the page content, not added as a separate removable annotation layer. Removing it requires advanced PDF editing software. For documents where permanent protection is critical, consider combining the watermark with a password using the Protect PDF tool.
Can I choose the watermark position, color, or size?
The current version applies a standardised diagonal watermark with semi-transparent gray styling across the centre of each page. Custom positioning, colours, and font sizes are planned for a future version.
